Kendall & Tyler are both super fun and two of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever worked with! Their love for family, God, and a sophisticated yet simple style made this day so special and unique!! From the classic look of the handmade black and white striped table runners and the bold lines of typeset on the stationery suite lovingly crafted by the bride to the vintage rentals, their wedding was filled with lots of special details and personal touches. Kendall's bouquet was full of texture with blooms like garden roses, hanging amaranthus, anemones, veronica, lisianthus, and an assortment of succulents. Add in the stunning backdrop of MI in fall, and you've got a beautiful and breathtaking day!
Below are some words from the bride herself:
"Our ceremony was my favorite part of the day. It was when I felt the most at peace. I remember feeling an indescribable joy and contentment when I stood at the altar holding hands with my soon-to-be husband!! Saying our vows to one another is what sticks out the most in my mind. I remember just wanting to giggle throughout the whole thing! My heart was full of so much joy that it could not contain it!
One of the most important aspects of Tyler's and my relationship is the community that surrounds us. Our family and friends are a massive support system for us and we were shown overwhelming love from them throughout our wedding process. I can honestly say that there was not one single facet of our wedding that was not contributed by a friend or family member: The cake, the photography, the vintage decorations, my hair and makeup, the flowers, the typography, the officiating... The list goes on and on. Our wedding day was an absolute outpouring of love. We were and are so blessed by the people that God has put in our lives and our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without them!
I would encourage other couples to put double (or triple) the amount of work into their marriage that they are putting into their wedding. Marriage is the most wonderful gift, but it also takes a lot of effort! Read marriage books together, discuss important issues with each other, and pray for and with one another. Our wedding day was so enjoyable because of all of the preparation we had put into our marriage!"
