On a hot August day in 2012, Becky married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Arlo Jack! Their ceremony was set on the grounds of an amazing restored barn close to their hometown with a beautiful backdrop of blue skies. Kill's Custom Creations made the hand crafted wooden and grape vine arbor and decorated it with soft, airy fabrics, garden roses and greens to create a perfect frame for the lovely couples rustic ceremony!
Becky carried a natural round bouquet in green and ivory consisting of garden roses, jumbo white and mini green hydrangea, Fuji mums, hypericum berries, green trick dianthus, and gladiolus all wrapped with a custom twine "corset". With her bridesmaids small and simple bouquets of all mini green hydrangea, the floral accents were a perfect pairing for the rustic country theme.
Since Becky is one of my dearest friends and also an integral part of the success of my business (she was one of my very first brides and continues to help me as a "right hand gal" during events) it was an extra emotional day for me! Looking back I am so honored to have been able to be a part of the whole day...the flowers and decor obviously, but most importantly the celebration of love of one of my favorite couples! Thank you and I love you two crazy kids!!
From the Bride:
Arlo and I are first and foremost best friends. Our familiarity with one another truly makes us the best person we can be together! We translated this into our entire wedding - laid back in a country barn with hay bales and mason jars is where we are comfortable. Not in some big ballroom or art gallery.
Kill’s Custom Creations was absolutely amazing! Jess did all the flowers, ceremony and reception decor for our wedding and she went above and beyond! There were more flowers there than I could have ever anticipated. The ceremony arch was by far my favorite - draped in fabric and flowers, it gave our rustic country wedding the lightest touch of elegance that I was looking for!!
